Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… this “mohawk fade with design” thing, ya know? Heard some young folks jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, even if I ain’t no fancy hairdresser.
First off, what in the tarnation is a “mohawk”? Sounds like somethin’ a wild bird would have, not a person. But from what I gather, it’s like, a strip of hair standin’ up on top of your head, right? Like a rooster’s comb, but on a human. Crazy kids these days, I tell ya.
Now, this “fade” part… that just means the hair gets shorter and shorter as it goes down the sides, right? Like a bald spot creepin’ up on ya, but on purpose. I seen plenty of those bald spots in my day, ain’t nothin’ new. But these youngsters, they pay good money for it! Go figure.
- Short Mohawk High Fade: This one, it’s like a real short haircut on the sides, almost nothin’ there. Then you got that strip of hair on top, standin’ up tall. Sounds kinda… breezy. Good for a hot day, I reckon. But you gotta have the right kinda head for it, ya know? Some folks just ain’t got the face for it.
- Short Mohawk with High Fade: Seems like the same darn thing as the first one, just worded different. These city folk always gotta make things complicated. It’s a short haircut with a strip on top, end of story.
- Naturally Textured Faded Mohawk: Now this one’s got me scratchin’ my head. “Naturally textured”? What’s that supposed to mean? Like, you don’t comb it? You let the wind do its thing? Sounds like a mess to me. But I guess some folks like that messy look. To each their own, I always say.
And then there’s the “design” part. Oh, boy. That’s where it gets real wild. I seen pictures of these young fellas with all sorts of squiggles and lines shaved into the sides of their heads. Looks like a bunch of chicken scratch to me. But I guess it’s their way of expressin’ themselves, or somethin’. Back in my day, you expressed yourself by workin’ hard and keepin’ your mouth shut, but times have changed, I guess.
So, why are these “mohawk fade with design” haircuts so popular all of a sudden? Well, from what I can gather, it’s all about bein’ different, bein’ bold. These young folks, they don’t wanna look like everyone else. They wanna stand out from the crowd. And a mohawk, well, that’ll definitely make you stand out, that’s for sure.
It’s like that fella said in that article, they’re comin’ back in style. Mohawks, or “mohicans” as some folks call ‘em. Fancy names for a haircut, if you ask me. But these young’uns, they like to change things up, try new things. And a mohawk, well, it ain’t so risky as some of the other stuff they get up to these days, I reckon. At least it’s just hair, it’ll grow back.
And it ain’t just for the boys, neither. I seen some girls with mohawks too. Though theirs are usually a bit softer, not so… pointy. They call it “female mohawks,” I heard. Same idea, just… prettier, I guess. And the best face shape for it is square, but some of them loose flowin ones work for the round faces. It is really nice for skater cuts.
So, there you have it. My take on this “mohawk fade with design” craze. It’s a bit wild, a bit crazy, but hey, at least it’s somethin’ different. And who knows, maybe I’ll even try it myself… nah, just kiddin’. I’m too old for that nonsense. But if you’re young and you wanna try somethin’ new, go ahead, get yourself a mohawk. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if it looks ridiculous.
One last thing, whether you call it a mohawk, or mohican, well, it is all the same, just don’t go spendin’ all your hard earned money on it, you hear? There’s more important things in life than fancy haircuts.
